Episode 22: Diving Deep with Death Doula & Intuitive Alice Vath

Alice Vath is an Intuitive Death Doula whose purpose is to help people find clarity, healing, and meaning in their lives. She uses her intuition and psychic information to guide her counseling, dreamwork session, or tarot sessions. She's also a trained Death Doula whose personal experiences with death, grief, and loss have given me an intimate understanding of these emotions. My Death Doula services are a natural extension of the intuitive work I do, while my life experiences have expanded her the ability to provide support to others. In this episode we discuss Alice's journey of becoming a death doula, why someone would want to use a service like this and how the death movement that's underway is influencing how we look at, discuss, experience and celebrate life through death.

Death is something we all will experience and share. Like birth, it's a natural part of life we all share yet we avoid, feel discomfort, fear and uncertainty around talking about death. We want to hurry up and get over our grief or feel shame about the length of time we're grieving. We still experience death as a taboo topic in society and yet it's inevitable that we will all experience it. My intention in having today's guest and sharing this conversation is to create more ease, knowledge, and resources around this natural aspect of life. My hope is that today will allow you to feel a bit more empowered and give you the tools, resources, and support available to you to help you navigate death.
